On this tour, you'll be picked up at your place of stay and driven to El Yunque National Forest, which is about an hour from San Juan. You’ll experience El Yunque National Forest through the eyes of our passionate guides. You’ll be guided and listen to live documentaries about the cultural significance of this place to our Puerto Rican ancestors. This tour will give you a lot of knowledge about the importance of the tree species, wildlife, and mountain land to the people of Puerto Rico. The tour lasts about 5 hours from pick-up to drop-off, including driving time, three different stops within the forest, and a stop at a local place for souvenir shopping and lunch before making our way back to San Juan.

Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. The Tamarindo estuary is a long, vast river mouth with mangrove forest. It is located between Tamarindo and Playa Grande. The labyrinth of meanders, streams and lagoons is vast and rarely explored. It is a perfect 2.5 hour trip for nature lovers. You can paddle through the calm waters of the estuary, between Playa Tamarindo and Playa Grande.
